Piracy Tourism

Written on December 21, 2007 by Guillermo de Haro in Información y tecnología

The New York Times has unveiled some hours ago that the Caribbean nation of Antigua has, from now on, the “right to violate copyright protections on goods like films and music from the United States — up to $21 million — as part of a dispute between the two countries over online gambling”
The World Trade Organization is responsible for this sentence that is going to change the world as we know it. USA and Spain are risking their privileged positions in the tourism markets as the biggest receptors. Antigua will be the destiny of many people who want to enjoy their holidays in the Caribbean shore, laying in the beach in the downloading meantime.
In my case, as soon as Antigua deliver Fon (Martin, we have and opportunity here), I will go there to escape from the digital canon.
Come fly with me!
